Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Companion details you provide, such as name, birthday, zodiac information, and personality choices.
• Photos you choose to upload to create an AI Memory, together with the scene and companion details used for that request.
• Generated companion and Memory images, prompts, generation status, feedback, and download or sharing events.
• An email address only when you voluntarily provide one for account, companion, support, or future access features.
• Basic technical information supplied by our hosting and security providers, which may include IP address, browser type, device data, timestamps, and error logs.

2. How we use information

• Create and preserve your companion and its visual identity.
• Generate, display, unlock, download, and share your AI Memories.
• Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve ZodiaPet.
• Measure limited product activity, manage generation limits, prevent abuse, and respond to support or privacy requests.

3. Photos and AI processing

When you create an AI Memory, your uploaded photo, companion reference image, appearance description, and selected scene may be sent to the image-generation provider configured for ZodiaPet. Depending on our current infrastructure, that provider may be Volcengine, OpenAI, Hugging Face, or another disclosed replacement provider.

Only upload a photo that you have the right and permission to use. Do not upload sensitive documents, intimate imagery, or a photo of a person under 13.

4. Storage and visibility

ZodiaPet uses hosting and storage providers such as Vercel and Supabase. Source photos, companion references, and original Memory images are intended to be stored privately. A watermarked preview may be served through a public image URL, which means anyone who obtains that exact URL may be able to view it. Do not create or share a Memory you expect to remain completely confidential.

5. Sharing and service providers

We disclose information only as needed to operate the service, comply with law, protect users and ZodiaPet, or complete an action you request. Service providers may process information for hosting, database and object storage, AI image generation, security, analytics, email delivery, and future payment processing. We do not currently sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, preserve a companion or Memory you asked us to save, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention may vary by record and provider, and deletion from backups may take additional time.

You may request access to or deletion of your information by contacting us. We may need enough information to verify that the request concerns you. Deleting source data may make a companion or Memory unavailable.

7. Children

ZodiaPet is not intended for children under 13, and people under 13 may not submit personal information or upload photos. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. A parent or guardian who believes this occurred should contact us promptly.

8. Security and international processing

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online system is completely secure. Our providers may process information in the United States, China, or other countries where they operate, subject to their terms and applicable law.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information, or to object to certain processing. You can also choose not to upload a photo or provide an email address. We will respond to valid requests as required by applicable law.
